Customizing your tickets

Mighty Tix offers a unique ticket customization capability that allows event organizers to create a branded, white-label ticketing experience. Our platform enables you to upload a PDF template which will then be used for your event tickets when customers make a purchase. This guide will walk you through the steps to create an eye-catching, professional-looking ticket that reflects your event's identity and provides important information to your attendees.

Design your ticket template

First, design your ticket template using any graphic design software that allows you to create a PDF file. Alternatively, design your ticket template in your preferred software then print your design to a PDF file. The template will need to include space at the top of the template for the following information:

  • Event name
  • Venue name and address
  • Date and time
  • Ticket type and price
  • Order ID
  • Purchaser details

Below this information, on the left-hand side, your template will also need to allow space for the QR code which will be used for event entry.

Your template can be a standard size, such as US Letter or A4, or any other size provided it's large enough to accommodate the ticket details. You could even create a wide, short template to recreate the look of a traditional ticket stub. Be sure to use your event's branding elements, such as logos, colors, and fonts, to create a consistent look.

Additional information and features

Consider adding the following elements to enhance your ticket and provide valuable information to your attendees:

  • Terms and conditions of sale or entry
  • Reminders of what attendees should bring with them
  • Information about what items will be prohibited
  • Maps and information about parking
  • Sponsor logos or advertising
  • Information about other upcoming events

These are just a few suggestions to get you started – anything that you think might be valuable to your attendees (or to you!) could be added to your custom tickets.

Save and upload

Once you're satisfied with your design, save it as a PDF file.

Log in to your Mighty Tix admin system and navigate to the Account tab. Click Brand & Style, then under Ticket Style click the Update button.

Drag and drop your PDF template onto the page, or click Choose a file to select the file from your computer. When you're ready click Save to upload your template.

Preview and test

After uploading your template, preview the ticket to ensure all information is displayed correctly by clicking the View Custom Ticket button. You may also want to print a test ticket to check the quality and alignment of the printed details. Make any necessary adjustments to your template and re-upload it if needed.

Promote your event

Now that your custom tickets are ready, start promoting your event and watch your ticket sales soar! Attendees will appreciate the personalized touch and the additional information provided on their tickets.
